These are the most important ascriptive characteristics, such as social origin, parental education, family financial situation, settlement status, gender, age. The position of part-time students, achieved by them, is characterized by indicators of the level of educational attainment with which they enter the university, as well as by the presence and duration of work experience. The needs of referring specifically to the part-time form of education and the values that are realized by part-time students due to the existence of this institution are characterized. Based on the interview materials, a typology of part-time students and graduates is presented
