Abstract

The article notes that the focus of the implementation of comprehensive demographic development strategies in Russia should be on overcoming regional inequality in the health of the population, when the place of birth and life activity for the majority of residents of the regions actually predetermine the risks and prospects of living up to the most favorable levels of life expectancy characteristic of the most successful and prosperous regions of the Russian Federation.
