Abstract

At present, the Russian management practice is dominated by borrowed theories that do not correspond to the domestic economic realities, as well as current problems of the country's development. In the leading countries of the big seven, as well as in China and India, purposeful work is underway to bring the science of management out of the state of crisis. This work has also been started in Russia. One of its most important components was the writing of the basic textbook Russian management, which reveals modern approaches to understanding the theory and methodology of management science in the context of the transition to the sixth technological order, digitalization of the economy and other global innovations. Changes in business conditions necessitate the formation of fundamentally new competencies of managers. At the same time, the author's team of the publication proceeds from the fact that Russia has the theoretical achievements of the largest domestic scientists, and the Russian school of management has proved its right to exist.
