Abstract

Natechs represent a specific type of technological accidents which are triggered by natural hazards. In our study, we analyzed significant cases of such events and identified the main risk factors for the occurrence of such disasters. Taking into account the damage from technological accidents induced by natural factors, the danger of the negative consequences of climate change might be underestimated.
