Abstract

On February 27, 2020, the Victory Museum Art Gallery hosted a round table on the theme Countering the Destruction of the Image of the Great Patriotic War: new Information Threats, Technologies and the Struggle for Historical Memory, organized by the Memory of Victories Foundation for the Promotion of Spiritual and Moral Values, the Institute of Economic Strategies of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the Russian Biographical Institute together with the Russian Military Historical Society. The purpose of the event is to consolidate expert forces to counteract falsifications and distortions of the historical truth about the Great Patriotic War. As part of this event, the magazine ES publishes a report by Professor S. G. Kara-Murza The treacherous image of the Patriotic War.
