This volume of the Collected Works of the world-famous sociologist P. Sorokin (1889-1968) includes his classic work Modern Sociological Theories, written and published in the United States in 1928, when the author worked at the State University Minnesota. For several decades, the book served as a textbook on the history of sociology for undergraduate and graduate students of American colleges and universities. This edition is the first translation of this classic work into Russian
