Abstract

This article attempts to consider the main demographic characteristics of the North Caucasian ethnic groups on the far Eastern border of Russia on the example of Dagestanis living in the Primorye territory. According to the materials of the expert survey, their estimates are presented, showing the attitude of the regional authorities to people from the republics of the North Caucasus. Conclusions are made that the relations between the indigenous population of the region and newcomers are generally calm, not disturbing the calm of the cities of the Primorsky territory.
