Abstract

The article provides the main substantive characteristics of the scientific event that took place on September 28–29 in the Republic of Crimea – the Second Crimean Sociological Forum «Social transformations in the context of the spatial development of Russia». The main thematic areas of the forum's work are highlighted, as well as the results of the discussion of topical problems of the spatial development of the country and regions by leading representatives of Russian sociology – participants and guests of the forum.
