Abstract

This study analyzed the main trends and options for the Russian Federation's participation in interstate educational alliances: regulatory sources, funding, legislative decisions, and main approaches to developing scenarios for Russia's participation in educational alliances until 2030. It is noted that with the development of the educational Alliance within the BRICS, the trends of high flows of academic mobility from China to the BRICS countries and extremely insignificant ones from Russia remain. At the same time, Russia's participation in the countries of the Eurasian economic Union has great prospects for academic mobility to Russian universities. Equal access to education and the labor market, as well as absolute freedom of movement within the EAEU for citizens of the countries that are members of the Alliance, are key factors in increasing the number of foreign students
