Abstract

The article examines the links between the factors of deformation and destruction of political structures and processes in the post-socialist countries of Europe. The proposed discourse takes into account the role of an external, cosmic factor – the increase in the frequency of solar plasma emissions towards the Earth, which reduces the frequency of crises. In the countries of Central and South-Eastern Europe, where the consequences of the recent systemic transformation continue to be felt, and the level of politicization is still low, this has given rise to negative phenomena of disorganization, destruction and dysfunction of society. The reduction in the time intervals of post-crisis recovery has reduced the possibilities for rational institutionalization of structures and their functioning. The result is the rejection of liberal democracy, the violation of democratic procedures, political representation and the spread of varieties of populism, which leads to the entrenchment of the foundations of authoritarianism and the weakening of the functions of the rule of law.
