Abstract

The brochure contains two articles by O. B. Bozhkov devoted to topical problems of modern sociology, which largely cover the topics of upcoming readings and which I would like to propose for discussion at traditional sociological readings in memory of the Leningrad (St. Petersburg) sociologist Valery Borisovich Golofast, as well as the announcement of these readings. The first readings of this cycle took place in March 2007 under the general heading “Sociology yesterday, today, tomorrow”. From the third readings on, each had its own name. Materials of all readings, except for two (sixth and seventh), were published, - however, the fourth and fifth collections - only in the electronic version, and the first three and from the eighth to the eleventh also had a typographical version. All published materials can be found on the Si RAS website (www.socinst.ru).
