Abstract

The article presents statistical information describing certain aspects of the human potential of three regions of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation - Chukotka and Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrugs, as well as individual municipalities of the Arkhangelsk Region. The work on the collection and analysis of information was carried out within the framework of the study of the influence of factors determining changes in human capital on the spatial development of the RF AZ. The study was carried out by sociologists of the West Siberian branch of the Federal Sociological Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences within the framework of the state assignment Regions in the social space of Russia: centripetal and centrifugal tendencies and the Tyumen Industrial University within the framework of the strategic project Increasing the efficiency of the development of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation together with colleagues from Moscow, Salekhard, Nadym, Anadyr and Arkhangelsk.
