Abstract

The article provides an analytical review of the materials of the work of the International Scientific Conference Russian Logos-2: Modern - Verge of Control held on September 25-28, 2019 in St. Petersburg. It is shown that the discussion at the conference of the problems of various trends in Russian thought of the late XIX - early XX centuries, in a broad sense - the ideology of Russian modernity, still remains an exclusive form of actualization in intellectual practices of the problems of modern Russian society. The basic dilemma of reflecting on these problems is the semantic duality between the logic of the revolutionary demand to transform the socio-political reality of the Russian state and the conservative tendency that forms the wrong side of revolutionary praxis, and vice versa, between the conservative logic of maintaining the foundations of a normalized order of life and impossibility, which is especially characteristic of the intelligentsia of the modern era. withstand the terrible spectacle of the fundamental injustice of the social order. The problem of the very possibility of meaningful praxis, which is capable of leading beyond the aforementioned dilemma, as the own problem of any modernist consciousness, accompanying the consciousness of this duality, expresses the theoretical and practical essence of this conflict.
