Abstract

The article analyzes the social and labor space of the Republic of Tyva, which is undergoing significant changes in the sectoral and professional-qualification structure of the employed population. On the basis of the analysis of statistics and publications of the experts, the author shows that despite the generally positive changes in the structure of labor supply, the structure of demand for it remains quite traditional. According to the authors opinion, the main restraining factors are socio-cultural and economic-geographical features of the regional development. At the same time, it is obvious that there is a lack of coordination of priority directions of development and, as a consequence, ineffective interaction of the institutions responsible for this.
