Lektorsky, M.M. Bakhtin, A.S. Akhiezer, R.S. Grinberg and A. Ya. Rubinstein. Why they? Because in their complementarity, they have significantly approached the answer to the main question of researchers of the middle: how is a social mechanism possible in Russian culture, which contains the potential for overcoming the split between the historically established Russian culture (veche, conciliar-authoritarian, rejecting the personality, through itself forming the type of Russian power) and society (ideally civil, personal, through itself forming social needs)? Scientific discussion on this topic today is possible through the theory of Lektorsky's non-classical epistemology and its social concretization - the principle “I am for another from the point of view of another”, “another for me from my point of view” MM Bakhtin, Akhiezer's search for the third meaning (mediation) as an alternative to Manichean thinking, and Greenberg / Rubinstein's concept of economic sociodynamics (CES). For the first time, the concept of middle-for is introduced - the idea of the subjectivity of the sphere between culture and society, aimed at the development of both poles through the development of oneself as the basis of this development.
