Abstract

The paper presents the results of studying the relationship of the population to the privacy of personnel data on the Internet. The empirical basis of the article was the representative survey of the village of Moscow, conducted in May-June 2020, was recorded that the practice of submissions was received when using various Internet services received a wide range. At the same time, two thirds of respondents declared concerns of personal security in the Internet. According to the binary regression model, the predictors of such anxiety relate to the presence of confidentiality dominant settings in respondents; practices leaving information about themselves in the network (first of all their children); Negative assessments to ensure security as the norm of life of a democratic society and the overall dissatisfaction with the functioning of the political system.
