Such mature and formed contradictions can turn into a very acute complex conflict, one of the varieties of which is a block conflict, where there is no obvious dominant, but there is a main line of confrontation between several parties, to which others are involved in the course of the conflict. On the example of the protracted regional conflict of socio-economic, ecological and ethno-cultural nature around the shikhans in Bashkortostan, which has received a certain socio-political discourse, the article reveals its complex (block) nature.
