Abstract

In 2020, the research team of the Center for Social and Socio-Political Research of the Institute social and political research RAS developed and implemented a research program for a comprehensive sociological research Social state and civil society in the context of the implementation of national projects. Particular emphasis was placed on the study of the socio-political state of society in a pandemic, analysis of the risks of sustainable development, as well as analysis of the factors of quantitative and qualitative dynamics of developing processes, the search for ways to stabilize and sustainable social and political development. The main conclusion of the study is that the Russian state has a pronounced potential for public legitimacy, mainly due to the fact that the state has managed to control the situation in the fight against pandemic within the critical parameters and prevent the scenario of the development of the stanza consequences. The state, government authorities and health care systems as a whole coped with the threat to social and biological security and ensured a mode of sustainable development of the country. However, in the sphere of domestic policy, the risks of volatility of sustainable development of society and the state, the level and quality of life of citizens remain high
