Abstract

The article shows the interaction in the oil and gas sector of Iran and China, not only the largest importer but also an investor in the Iranian fuel and energy sector. Iran's supply of cheap oil and gas to China contributed to the rapid recovery of the Chinese economy after the 1980s. As an independent geopolitical player, China has the ability to circumvent the US sanctions imposed on Iran, but in 2018-2020. He was forced to close some projects in Iran. Now Iran and China are considering the conclusion of a universal agreement on the oil and gas complex.
