The challenge facing society today is to preserve the environmental activities of social entrepreneurs and environmental activists as carriers of the function of environmental education through social media. Due to the lack of research on this issue, the author's goal is to prove that social media marketing (SMM) is a way to adapt to the crisis period. The results of the study confirmed that the problem of destruction of the ecological information space is solved through environmental education, and the function of environmental education is realized through the creation of content in environmental groups in social media. The author has proved that altruistic values in social media marketing are in priority to the promotion of goods and services, that is, over selfish values.
