The section of the Report, prepared by Russian researchers, presents a socio-economic analysis of reindeer husbandry of the indigenous peoples of the Russian Arctic, which forms the economic basis of their life and, as a result of denationalization and privatization processes, is carried out today in officially registered peasant farms and private subsidiary farms.
