Abstract

Resume: The article is devoted to the phenomenon, which is fixed in the English-language literature in the form of the term DIY Research (English Do It Yourself - do it yourself). These are studies using online methods that can be carried out by anyone independently, regardless of the level of professionalism. The main advantages and disadvantages of DIY research are shown. An assumption is made regarding the consequences of the evolution of the sphere of social research. Key words: sociological research; marketing research; DIY Research; online methods.
