Abstract

The chapter of the monograph presents an analysis of interregional inequality that has developed in terms of indicators of the living standards and quality of life, prepared based on the materials of the Monitoring of income and living standards of the Russian population. High interregional gaps in a number of indicators of the living standards and quality of life are shown, regions with a high concentration of indicators showing social disadvantage are identified. The measures necessary to improve the living standards and quality of life in all Russian regions and in the whole country are proposed.
