Abstract

The article deals with the network aspects of social life from the perspective of the political effects of the” pandemic “ crisis. It is noted that in the context of a viral pandemic, the political network is giving way to the social network. The author characterizes Covid-19 as a social and political challenge with far-reaching consequences, as a complex stress test for Russian society and the country’s leadership. It is concluded that, from the point of view of social science, the pandemic is not just a biological phenomenon and a test of the effectiveness of the health system and management apparatus, but a complex socio-political phenomenon that requires a comprehensive analysis and lessons learned for the future.
