Abstract

In scientific and journalistic literature, patriotism is often identified with historical memory, often about the Great PatrioticWar. The article proves that the study of the sociocultural phenomenonof patriotism requires an analysis of the causes and factors of its formation, its evolution and relevance in modern society. A positive/respectful attitude to the past is not enough to assess the level of respondents' patriotism.
