Abstract

The work substantiates the relevance of the problem of the participation of families in the life of socio-territorial communities. It is shown that the direction and nature of socio-political attitudes largely determine the possibility of the family population, the formation of a favorable environment in the place of their residence. The data of a survey of families of the Tyumen region, carried out with the participation of the authors in 2020, are presented. Based on the empirical data obtained, the level of socio-political activity, willingness to participate in social and social activities was revealed. The rating of families’ trust in the main social and political institutions represented in the region has been built. The assessment of the activities of the regional authorities in the field of state family policy and improving the life of families has been studied. The directions of family policy, which, in the opinion of the population, are priority in the region have been identified.
