All this has an impact on migration. The task facing the states focused on the reception of migrants is to create a system that would streamline migration in the long term and be fully based on domestic social values and international law. This article is devoted to the analysis of the problems of introducing innovative technologies in working with migrants. The article is important today due to the growing volumes of international movements of people for geopolitical, climatic and economic reasons, on the one hand, and due to the introduction of IT into the systems for tracking, registering and adapting migrants in the host community, on the other hand. In their article, the authors provide some analytical and statistical data reflecting the landscape of modern migration processes in foreign countries, and also some examples showing the introduction and use of innovative (primarily digital) technologies in working with displaced persons. In addition, the authors touch upon the issues of ethics of their application, and pay attention to the prospects and barriers preventing the spread of technological innovations in working with migrants.
